Train with a Seasoned ECE Professional

Practical, certified workshops for early childhood educators. In person, virtual, or custom-built for your program.
Sessions range from a half-day introduction to a full-day deep dive, depending on your team's needs and the topics you want to cover. Multi-session formats are also available for programs that want ongoing professional development across the school year. Jerri works with you before the workshop to understand your program and structure the time accordingly.
Yes. Jerri offers both in-person and virtual workshops. In-person sessions are recommended for full team training and curriculum rollouts, since working directly with teachers in their environment tends to produce stronger results. Virtual works well for smaller groups or follow-up sessions. Reach out to discuss what makes sense for your program.
Workshops are designed to accommodate your full teaching team, whether that is four teachers or forty. Sessions can also be structured for administrators only, mixed groups of teachers and directors, or as parent education seminars. Reach out through the contact form to talk through your program size and goals.
Both. A single workshop is a strong starting point for teams being introduced to new topics or curriculum. For programs that want continued growth, Jerri also offers multi-session formats, director mentoring, and consulting that builds on workshop content across the year.
Yes. All workshops are led by Jerri Thompson, Master Registered Trainer #1413, approved by the Texas Early Childhood Development System to train in all core knowledge areas for Practitioners and Administrators. Every participant receives a training certificate with approved clock hours that can count toward state professional development requirements.
Yes. If none of the available sessions are exactly what your team needs, Jerri will work with you to build something specific to your program, your staff, and your goals. Custom workshops can be in-person or virtual, single or multi-session, and can be structured for teachers, administrators, or both. Book a free call with Jerri to get started.
Yes. Several of Jerri's workshop topics translate directly into parent education sessions, giving programs a way to engage families with the same expert-led content their teaching team receives. Ask about this option when you reach out.

What Directors and Teachers Are Saying.

★★★★★

I used to dread parent teacher conferences. Unstructured lesson planning made me feel constantly unequipped and overwhelmed. But working with Jerri opened my eyes to a whole new world. The Scope & Sequence and Assessment Tools quickly gave me the skills I needed to manage my classroom with confidence.

I've had the privilege of working with Jerri through her consulting and training, and her depth of knowledge is exceptional. Her guidance has strengthened both our curriculum planning and teacher development, bringing clarity and intentionality to our program. She has my highest regards as a trainer and educator.

★★★★★

The Scope & Sequence gave our teaching team a shared language to talk about children's development, and helped teachers feel more grounded in their observations and planning. The tools are thoughtful, practical, and rooted in real classroom experience.

There are so many wonderful aspects to this curriculum that make learning fun while staying true to the academic aspect. But the best part is the Companion Assessment Tools, which help us all stay on track throughout the year. We see the proof that this curriculum works every day.
